When and Where

This year’s prom dance will take place at Wisehaven Event Center from 5:30-9 p.m. on Friday, April 26.

Ticket Sales

Seniors and juniors are invited to attend the event. Seniors will be able to purchase tickets for themselves and their guests starting at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 22. Juniors may purchase tickets for themselves and their guests beginning on Friday, March 29. The last day to purchase tickets for both juniors and seniors will be Friday, April 5*. All tickets will cost $50 per person.

*If demand is higher than expected, ticket sales may be discontinued before April 5 to ensure the number of attendees does not exceed the event center’s maximum occupancy. Please purchase tickets as soon as possible to avoid any issues.

Entering the Dance

After making an online purchase, no physical or digital ticket will be issued. However, students must retain their receipt and present it at the door as proof of purchase. The name of each student for whom a ticket is purchased will be recorded and used to verify attendance eligibility on the day of the dance.

Dance Guests

All non-York Tech dance guests must be pre-registered by using this form. The completed form should be turned into the high school office before a ticket is purchased for the individual.

Theme and Dress

This is a formal event, and students are required to dress in formal attire. Jeans and hats will not be permitted. The theme of the event will be Blast From the Past.

Ballroom Closet

York Tech students in need of dance attire may visit the Ballroom Closet, located in The HUB, during intervention periods and before homerooms from April 16-25. Gowns, suits, and men’s and women’s shoes will be available. All items are free of charge.

Dinner

Dinner details will be posted here once they’re finalized. It’s anticipated that the setup will be similar to 2023. (Dinner during Prom 2023 consisted of a buffet that started at 5:30 p.m. and ended at 7 p.m. Afterward, there was a dessert bar from 7-8 p.m. Light snacks were served throughout the evening.)

Cuando y donde

El baile de graduación de este año se llevará a cabo en el Centro de Eventos Wisehaven de 5:30 p.m. a 9 p.m. el viernes 26 de abril.

Venta de boletos

Se invita a los mayores y menores a asistir al evento. Las personas mayores podrán comprar boletos para ellos y sus invitados a partir del viernes 22 de marzo. Los Juniors pueden comprar boletos para ellos y sus invitados a partir del viernes 29 de marzo. El último día para comprar boletos tanto para juniors como para seniors será el viernes 5 de abril*. Todos los boletos costarán $50 por persona.

Entrando al baile

Después de realizar una compra online no se emitirá ningún billete físico ni digital. Sin embargo, los estudiantes deben conservar su recibo y presentarlo en la puerta como comprobante de compra. El nombre de cada estudiante para quien se compre un boleto se registrará y se utilizará para verificar la elegibilidad de asistencia el día del baile.

Invitados al baile

Todos los invitados al baile que no sean de York Tech deben estar preinscritos mediante esta forma. El formulario completo debe entregarse en la oficina de la escuela secundaria antes de comprar un boleto para la persona.

Tema y vestido

Este es un evento formal y los estudiantes deben vestirse con vestimenta formal. No se permitirán jeans ni sombreros. El tema del evento será Explosión del pasado.

Armario de salón

Los estudiantes de York Tech que necesiten vestimenta de baile pueden visitar el Ballroom Closet, ubicado en The HUB, durante los períodos de intervención y antes de las aulas de 16-25 de abril. Estarán disponibles batas, trajes y zapatos para hombres y mujeres. Todos los artículos son gratuitos.

Cena

Los detalles de la cena se publicarán aquí una vez que estén finalizados. Se anticipa que la configuración será similar a la de 2023.
