Homecoming 2024

Date & Time

This year’s homecoming dance will be held at York Tech from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5. The homecoming football game will be held on the same day at 10 a.m. against Bermudian Springs in York Tech’s stadium.

Attendance & Tickets

All York Tech students are invited to attend, but only juniors and seniors will be permitted to attend the dance with outside guests. Tickets will be sold from approximately Sept. 6-20. The sales link will be posted below in the near future. Tickets will cost $20 per person.

After making an online purchase, no physical or digital ticket will be issued. However, students must retain the electronic receipt and present it at the door as proof of purchase. The name of each student for whom a ticket is purchased will be recorded and used to verify attendance eligibility on the day of the dance.

Outside Guests

All non-York Tech dance guests must be pre-registered by submitting this form. The completed form should be turned into the high school office before a ticket is purchased for the individual. Visit the high school office for a printed copy of the form.

Theme and Dress

The theme of the dance will be A Night at the Movies. This is a semi-formal event, and students should dress accordingly. Jeans and hats will not be permitted at this event.

Ballroom Closet

York Tech students in need of dance attire may visit the Ballroom Closet, located in The HUB, on A-days during homeroom starting the week of Sept. 23 and during intervention periods on Sept. 25 and Oct. 2. Gowns, suits, and men’s and women’s shoes will be available. All items are free of charge.

Dinner

Food trucks, such as Killer Eats, SoCo Tacos, Premium Shaved Ice, and On My Grind Coffee, will be on campus selling food from 6 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Students will have the option to pay for food from these vendors. Light refreshments will also be available at no charge.

Homecoming Court

Seniors interested in running for Homecoming Court should check the Class of 2025 Schoology group for information.

Fecha y Hora

El baile de bienvenida de este año se llevará a cabo en York Tech de 6 p. m. a 9 p. m. el sábado 5 de octubre. El partido de fútbol de bienvenida se llevará a cabo el mismo día a las 10 a. m. contra Bermudian Springs en el estadio de York Tech.

Asistencia y Entradas

Todos los estudiantes de York Tech están invitados a asistir, pero solo los estudiantes de penúltimo y último año podrán asistir al baile con invitados externos. Después de realizar una compra en línea, no se emitirá ninguna entrada física o digital. Sin embargo, los estudiantes deben conservar el recibo electrónico y presentarlo en la puerta como prueba de compra. El nombre de cada estudiante para quien se compre un boleto se registrará y se utilizará para verificar la elegibilidad de asistencia el día del baile.

Invitados Externos

Todos los invitados al baile que no sean de York Tech deben registrarse previamente enviando este formulario. El formulario completo debe entregarse en la oficina de la escuela secundaria antes de comprar un boleto para la persona. Tema y Vestimenta

La temática del baile será Una noche de cine. Este es un evento semiformal y los estudiantes deben vestirse de manera adecuada. No se permitirán jeans ni sombreros en este evento.

Armario del Salón de Baile

Los estudiantes de York Tech que necesiten ropa de baile pueden visitar el Ballroom Closet, ubicado en The HUB, los días A durante las clases presenciales a partir de la semana del 23 de septiembre y durante los períodos de intervención el 25 de septiembre y el 2 de octubre. Habrá disponibles vestidos, trajes y zapatos para hombres y mujeres. Todos los artículos son gratuitos.

Cena

Habrá puestos de comida en el campus, como Killer Eats, SoCo Tacos, Premium Shaved Ice y On My Grind Coffee, que venderán comida de 6:00 p. m. a 8:30 p. m. Los estudiantes tendrán la opción de pagar por la comida que les traigan estos vendedores. También habrá refrigerios ligeros disponibles sin cargo.

Corte de Bienvenida

Los estudiantes de último año interesados en postularse para la corte de bienvenida deben consultar el grupo de Schoology de la Clase de 2025 para obtener información.
