Cooking Competition — Students in our Culinary Arts program participated in a unique cooking competition on Tuesday, Sept. 5. Three U.S. Army reps visited and supplied military rations, commonly called MREs. Each team had to transform their MREs into an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. All of the contestants wowed the judges, but the duo of Kaylee Stimpson and Veronica Gonzalez earned first place! [Photos]

Athletics Updates — The varsity field hockey team started the season by winning its first two matches! Check out highlights of the squad’s 3-0 win over Kutztown at this link. Additionally, girls volleyball downed Central Dauphin East on Sept. 2, and our cross country teams earned nine wins during the Spartan Kickoff Invitational thanks to stellar efforts by Nick Urey, Ryan Bischoff, and Isabel Waight-Alvarado. Scholarship Opportunity — Current juniors and seniors are eligible to apply for the TechLink Dual Enrollment Scholarship. Recipients will be able to take two free dual-enrollment courses through Harrisburg Area Community College. Applications must be submitted by Oct. 10, 2023. More details can be found at this link.
